OUR STORY

Why we built Scope.

A tool born from a very specific kind of frustration.

THE FOUNDER

Built by someone who lived the problem.

I spent years managing inventory for retail stores. Every new shipment meant the same process, every single time: wait for the supplier invoice, download the PDF, open Shopify, and start typing. Line by line. SKU by SKU. Size by size. If you have a busy receiving week, that adds up fast.

After the hundredth invoice, I started wondering why this hadn't been solved yet. The invoice already has all the data right there in it. Your Shopify store already knows your products. AI can read documents. Why was I still doing this by hand?

I looked for a tool that would just handle it. Read the PDF, match the products, push the inventory. I couldn't find one that actually worked the way a real retailer's operation works. The ones I tried were either designed for enterprise procurement teams, too brittle (they broke the moment a supplier changed their PDF layout), or required so much setup that they weren't worth it.

So I built Scope.

The goal from the beginning was straightforward: any retailer should be able to forward a supplier invoice and have inventory updated in Shopify without touching a keyboard. No templates. No field mapping. No IT department required.

I believe this kind of automation shouldn't be reserved for companies with custom software budgets. It should be available to the independent retailer with 10 vendors and a small team, not just the brands with a six-figure ERP contract.

Your time is too valuable to spend on data entry. Scope handles that part so you can focus on what actually grows your store.
